Palmetto Preventive provides convenient, direct-pay outpatient ultrasound and laboratory services from our West Ashley location at 29 Leinbach Drive, Suite B1, Charleston, SC 29407. Our clinic space is shared with Thrive Spinal Care, making it easier for patients to identify the building and know where to enter when they arrive. Palmetto Preventive and Thrive Spinal Care are separate practices, and Palmetto Preventive provides its own diagnostic services.
Additional imaging services are planned. The clinic was created to make high-quality diagnostics simple to understand and easy to access, without the scheduling and billing complexity that often surrounds traditional hospital departments.
Diagnostic ultrasound examinations are performed by qualified sonographers or physicians and interpreted by radiologists with relevant diagnostic imaging expertise. Laboratory specimen collection is performed by qualified phlebotomy personnel, and testing follows the established laboratory workflow. When a patient requests a service without an existing order, a licensed provider reviews the submitted information to determine whether it is clinically appropriate.
